What is a mirror photo booth?
A mirror photo booth is a full-length mirror that doubles as an interactive touchscreen. Guests walk up, see themselves at full height, and the mirror comes to life — color animations, a voice walking them through it, prompts to sign the screen with a fingertip. Behind the glass sits a pro-grade Canon DSLR and a studio-powered ring light, which is why the photos look nothing like a phone snap in a dark room.
It is the booth that made this category popular, and it still draws the biggest crowd at most events, because the interaction is visible from across the room. People watch someone else use it and immediately want a turn.
What is included with a mirror booth rental
Every mirror booth rental includes a trained attendant for the full length of your booking, unlimited sessions and unlimited 4x6 prints, a premium backdrop of your choice, a props table, and instant delivery to your guests' phones by text, email or QR code. You also get an online gallery of everything shot at the event.
Your print template is designed for your event rather than picked from a menu — names and date for a wedding, a monogram for a Sweet Sixteen, a logo lockup for a corporate night. Animated overlays, digital props, a beauty filter and skin-smoothing are all available depending on the look you want.
How much space does a mirror photo booth need?
The optimal footprint is 10ft x 10ft, which gives room for the mirror, the backdrop, a props table and a red carpet if you want one. If your venue is tight we can compress to a minimum of 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet, ideally not shared with the DJ or catering equipment.
Setup takes about 20 minutes, and we arrive a full hour before your start time so it is tested and quiet before guests arrive. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time runs at $55 per hour.

Is the mirror booth good for a wedding?
It is the most-booked booth we have for weddings, largely because it works for every age in the room. Grandparents use it as happily as the dance floor crowd, and the full-length format means whole wedding parties can pile in rather than squeezing three people into a frame.
Can guests write on the mirror?
Yes. The touchscreen supports on-screen signatures and drawings, so guests can add a message to their print. It is a favorite at weddings where the couple keeps a copy of every photo in a guest book.
How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?
Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.
Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.
