FAQ
Photo Booth Rental Questions, Answered
Cost, space, setup, insurance and travel — the practical things worth knowing before you book.
How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?
Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.
Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.
How much space does the booth need?
Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.
How long does setup take?
About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $55 per hour.
Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?
Yes. We carry a $2 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.
How far in advance should I book a photo booth?
As soon as your date is confirmed. Peak season and weekend dates go first, so booking early is how you secure yours. We will always try to accommodate last-minute requests when we have availability.
Do you travel outside Brooklyn?
Yes — all five boroughs plus Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey and Connecticut. Enter your venue ZIP code on the quote form and any travel fee is included in the pricing you get back, so there is nothing to discover later.
Can we customize the photo template with our logo or event name?
Yes. Print templates are custom-designed for your event — names, date, colors, a monogram, or a company logo for brand activations. Booths can also be fully wrapped and branded, with a custom start screen and a branded online gallery.
Do guests get unlimited prints?
Yes. Unlimited sessions and unlimited prints for the length of your rental, plus instant sharing to phone by text or email, and an online gallery of everything captured at your event.
How many hours should I book for a wedding?
Most weddings run three to four hours of booth time. The sweet spot is opening the booth as cocktail hour ends and running it through the heart of the dance floor, so guests hit it while the energy is highest rather than during dinner.
Still have a question?
Ask it on the quote form — we answer every enquiry personally, and there is no obligation to book.
Takes about 30 seconds. No obligation, no pushy follow-up.
