What is a green screen photo booth?
A green screen photo booth replaces the background behind your guests with any image you choose — a city skyline, a branded environment, a themed set that would be impossible to build in the room. The swap happens live, so guests see the finished composite immediately.
It is the most flexible booth we rent, because the backdrop is software rather than fabric. One booth can deliver five different worlds over the course of an evening.
Custom backgrounds designed for your event
Our design team builds the backgrounds with you in advance rather than pulling from a stock library. For a brand activation that means environments matching your campaign; for a themed party it means a set built around your concept; for a school event it might be the destination the year group has been talking about all term.
We can also produce custom props to match, so the whole composite feels intentional rather than improvised.
Capture styles and output
Choose still images, animated GIFs, boomerangs, or all three. Stills give you the cleanest composite and the most timeless result; GIFs and boomerangs add movement and tend to travel further on social.

Green Screen Booth FAQ
How far in advance do you need our background designs?
Give us at least two weeks for custom background design so there is time to build them and get your sign-off. Simpler swaps can be turned around faster — ask and we will tell you what is realistic for your date.
Does green screen work if guests wear green?
Bright green clothing will key out along with the background, so it is worth a heads-up if your event has a green dress code. We can adjust the key or switch to a blue screen when that is a concern.
How much does a photo booth rental cost in NYC?
Pricing depends on which booth you choose, how many hours you need, and where your venue is. Every quote is built for your specific event rather than pulled off a rate card, so the fastest way to a real number is the quote form — it takes about 30 seconds. Additional hours beyond your booked time are $125 per hour.
Is an attendant included with the photo booth rental?
Yes. A trained attendant runs every booth for the full length of your rental — setting up, keeping the prop table organized, helping guests, and packing down afterward. You never have to assign someone from your own team to look after the booth.
How much space does the booth need?
Optimal setup is 10ft x 10ft, which leaves room for the backdrop, prop table and a red carpet. We can compress into a smaller footprint when a venue is tight — the minimum is 8ft x 8ft with 7.5ft of ceiling clearance. We also need a standard 110V, 5-amp, 3-prong outlet within 15 feet of the booth.
How long does setup take?
About 20 minutes from the moment we walk in until we are taking the first picture. We arrive a full hour before your scheduled start time so everything is tested and ready. If you need us on site earlier than that, idle time is $55 per hour.
Do you carry insurance and can you provide a COI for my venue?
Yes. We carry a $2 million insurance policy. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance naming them as additionally insured, reply to your booking confirmation with their contact email and we will send it over.
